Comedy On the Clay – First Friday’s in Downtown Duluth – Feb 2024
Featuring Atlanta’s Best Comedians
Headliner: Gene Harding
Gene Harding is a comedian, actor, writer, and native New Yorker(nothing’s been published and he’s been living in Florida for the past 12 years). After co-starring on the hit tv show, “The Gary Owen Show” on BET(it got cancelled) he has been headlining across the country with his own tour, “The Fools of Comedy.” He’s performed at some of the country’s top comedy clubs, such as the Kansas City Improv, Ft. Lauderdale Improv, and the Louisville Improv (the last two closed down shortly after those shows.)
Along with making people laugh across the country, Gene’s acting skills have gotten him roles on the hit HBO show “Ballers” with Dwayne Johnson, USA’s hit show “Burn Notice,” and a few different roles on “America’s Most Wanted” (…too easy.) He has done several voice over commercials for Jetblue Airways, KFC, and Crunch Fitness to name a few (nope, that was it!) His witty charm onstage coupled with his natural ease in front of the camera make him a star to watch (can’t deny, THAT is true)!
Featuring: Dale Dymkoski
Dale claims to be the world’s deafest, fittest stroke survivor. But he hates labels and can’t wait to tell you why. Dale has appeared on the main stages at LA’s legendary clubs the Comedy Store, Laugh factory, Improv, and Ice House. He has opened and featured for Jeremy Piven, among others. Festivals include North Carolina, Burbank, Sno-Jam, and World Series of Comedy. TV credits include LAW & ORDER: SVU and SCANDAL. Born hard-of-hearing in a dysfunctional family, Dale’s comedy is eclectic and inspirational with light-hearted social and political commentary. He aims to bring people together through laughter across backgrounds and belief systems. Really, Dale just wants to be heard.
Hosted By: Yoshee
Host Yoshee So is an Atlanta-based comedian raised by immigrant parents and 80’s & 90’s TV sitcoms. As a latch key kid, Yoshee found ways to entertain himself watching sketches, comedy and hours of MTV. He is a founder of the Red Pill Players improv troupe that travel around the world spreading the joy of ‘on the spot’ funny. He’s opened for T.J. Miller and George Wallace and was chosen by NBC as a semifinalist for Standup for Diversity showcase. Yoshee produces multiple shows in the southeast including ATL in the Nash (improv + comedy mash-up show) and Comedy in the Clay (a showcase show of the best comics in the country). These days, you can find him touring the country while raising suburban kids, and managing a Céline Dion fan club.
